Brand Designer

Omaha

We’re looking for a creative and hard-working brand designer at Workshop to help us continue to build up our delightful presence across multiple digital and physical touchpoints! The ideal candidate will have a wide range of design capabilities and experience, with a solid background in visual communications, print, digital, social, and typography.

This is a really great opportunity to be an instrumental part in helping us evolve and shape the Workshop brand. As our second full-time design hire on a small marketing team, this role needs to be self-motivated, willing to help out on any project, and will have to work collaboratively to understand our company’s business objectives, target audience, and creative needs. It’s also a great position for someone who loves a design challenge and is excited at the prospect of adapting to different deliverables, including working on employee experience, events, content, and so much more!

Salary range: $70,000 – $90,000, depending on experience

As a brand designer, you will:

 

  • Deliver effective and on-brand visual designs across all touch points (could range in execution, but examples could be physical signage/swag, digital ads, email templates, PDFs/content guides, social media, mini-brands for company retreats, etc.) 
  • Own projects from kickoff through completion, collaborating with other members of the team when necessary and incorporating feedback into thoughtful final designs
  • Help shape and grow our brand and visual style going forward
  • Work cross-functionally to design and deliver assets and collateral for our internal teams
  • Drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty

 

To be successful at this position, you’ll need:

 

  • At least 3+ years of experience in a previous design role (freelance, agency, or in-house are all great!) 
  • A keen eye for design details like typography, iconography, illustration and motion
  • To effectively communicate concepts and design rationale
  • To embrace an iterative design process and be receptive to feedback
  • To be able to work independently and drive multiple projects at a time
  • To also work well in a team environment with multiple stakeholders
  • A high level of energy and optimism and a passion for going beyond the creative brief
  • A strong belief in our mission, vision and values
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Figma, with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies as needed
