Translation

Communicate with every employee in their

preferred language

Break down language barriers in your internal communications! Workshop’s translation feature allows your employees to read emails in the language they’re most comfortable with. Whether you’re a global organization or just have a multilingual team, this feature ensures that your messages are clearly understood by everyone.

Translation overview

Global reach

Effortlessly connect with a diverse workforce! With support for 135 languages, our translation feature makes it easy to communicate with employees around the world in their language of choice.

Seamless integration

Translation options are built right into the Workshop platform, so you can manage language preferences and deliver translated content without any extra steps.

Leading-edge AI translation

31 of our available languages are translated by DeepL, the leader in language translation because of its accuracy. (And we support 130 languages, if you need more options!)

Beyond the inbox

You can share the web link of your email with employees,
and they can choose to read the email in any of our available languages. (This is a great option for frontline or deskless employees!)

Customizable experience

Admins can set preferred languages for their company, making it simple to cater to your team’s specific needs. Plus, the translation settings are flexible, allowing you to control when (and where) translation options show up.

Security and privacy

All translations are powered by either Azure AI Translator
or DeepL, ensuring that your data is secure and confidential. Microsoft doesn’t store any of the data submitted for translation, so you can trust that your communications
remain private.

Practical ways to use translation in
your internal comms

Inclusive company announcements

Multilingual employees can now view company-wide announcements in their native language, promoting inclusivity and ensuring that important information reaches everybody.

Onboarding or training emails

For new hires who don’t speak your organization’s primary language, you can translate their onboarding emails and training details quickly and easily, cutting down on the time it takes to get them up and running.

Recaps of large events or meetings

Transcribe team meetings, discussions, CEO letters, memos, or presentations that may not have been recorded or written in your employee’s preferred language. Just toss that transcribed content into an email, and tada! You’re able to keep everyone on the same page.

Don't just take our word for it!

“It is not an exaggeration to say that internal mass emails went from something that our community went from "loving to hate" to a new methodology that recipients just ... loved!”

“We have groups based on team, location, tenure, anything…I don’t know how it works, but it just *beep boops* in Workshop. It’s magic.”
