BrightSide is Workshop’s employee communications & culture conference. It’s an easy-going event filled with delightful experiences, actionable advice, inspirational speeches, and interactive breakout sessions.

Where is BrightSide taking place?

BrightSide 2026 will be hosted at the Tenaska Center in downtown Omaha, Nebraska, with a kickoff event at Workshop HQ.

When is BrightSide taking place?

BrightSide 2026 will take place on September 23, 2026. There will also be a customer-only half day on September 22, 2026.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Tuesday, September 22 (daytime): A customer-only half day from 11 AM to 4:30 PM at The Tenaska Center, exclusively for the Workshop community.
  • Tuesday, September 22 (evening): A kickoff event at The Tenaska from 5 to 7 PM, open to all BrightSide attendees.
  • Wednesday, September 23: The full BrightSide conference day from 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM with a happy hour to follow at The Tenaska Center, open to all attendees.

Will food be provided?

Yes! We’ll have food and drinks covered across both days:

September 22 (customer-only day):
Light breakfast during check-in, plus lunch and snacks + coffee throughout the afternoon.

September 23 (BrightSide conference):
Light breakfast to start the day, a full brunch mid-morning, and snacks + coffee available throughout.

Will alcohol be served?

Yes. There will be mimosas at brunch and a happy hour to close out the day. Cheers! 🥂

No one under the age of 21 will be served alcoholic beverages. Please bring a valid government-issued photo identification, such as a driver’s license or passport, for proof of age. Guests and attendees will be asked to show proof of age.

Is there a virtual attendance option?

BrightSide is an in-person experience only – and that’s part of what makes it so special. The sessions, conversations, and community moments are all designed for face-to-face connection! 

Where should I stay?

If you are traveling to BrightSide from out of town, we recommend staying at one of these hotels. We have secured room blocks at each.
