Recent product updates

Our product team has rolled out a few product updates to keep your comms flowing smoothly! Recently, we’ve rolled out improvements that help you lock down brand consistency in translations, plan ahead with more clarity with email filters, and avoid Gmail clipping. Here’s what’s new:
Exclude certain words from being translated
We know how important it is to be able to communicate with every employee in their preferred language, but there might be a few words (like your company name) that you don’t need to be translated every single time. Now, you can exclude words from auto-translation.
If Workshop’s translation tool keeps changing a brand name, feature, or proper noun that shouldn’t be touched, you can now mark it to stay exactly as it is! This update makes it easier to protect certain brand terms or your CEO’s name from being mistranslated again and again.
Scheduled drafts now show up on your calendar view
When you add a send date in the email settings of your email and hit “Save and Exit,” your draft will appear right in the Calendar view (alongside all of your scheduled and sent emails)! It’s a small shift that makes planning clearer, helps you spot gaps earlier, and keeps everything in one place while you’re still editing.
It also pairs nicely with internal notes! Jot down reminders, tag teammates for feedback, or add quick context on what’s still in progress. Once everyone is on the same page, create a draft and pop in a send date to hold the spot on your calendar. It’s all about making the planning process smoother and more collaborative from the start.
Filter your email view to focus on what matters
Your email list just got a whole lot easier to navigate! With new filtering options in the “Email” tab, you can now apply one or more filters to instantly surface the messages that matter most. Filter by ownership (Owned by You / Shared with You), campaign, group, status, date, and more—it’s a faster way to get to what you’re looking for.
Trying to track down a single message? Want to see everything tied to an upcoming launch? Need to review emails sent by a specific team or across a campaign? Just set your filters and go.
Get notified before Gmail clips your email:
We’ve added a heads-up to help with Gmail clipping! Gmail automatically clips emails that go over 102KB, which means part of your message might get tucked behind a “View Entire Message” link! To help you catch it before it happens, we’ll now show a warning if your email is getting close to the limit. Just a small thing, but it could save you from a big surprise. To have the notification enabled for your account, reach out to your customer success manager!
