Add pulse surveys to your automated emails
You’ve been able to drop a pulse survey into a regular email for a while now. But the feedback you most want is often the recurring kind — the onboarding check-in at day 30, the follow-up after every event, the quarterly “how’s it going?” And those usually live inside a Journey. Now they can carry a survey too.
What’s new
- Surveys in automated emails: When you’re building an automated email for a Journey, you can now add a pulse survey right inside it — the same way you would in any other email. Set it once, and every person who moves through that step gets asked.
- Survey results in automated email analytics: The analytics page for your automated email now shows survey results alongside open, click, and engagement data. Your feedback and your performance numbers live in the same place — no exporting, no stitching things together.
A few of our favorite use cases
- Onboarding check-ins. Ask new hires how their first week went, automatically, at the right moment in their onboarding Journey.
- Event follow-ups. Send a quick “how was it?” after every event without remembering to set one up each time.
- Compliance confirmations. Confirm people read and understood a policy as they move through the sequence.
- Recurring pulse. Run a monthly or quarterly Journey that checks in on sentiment on a schedule you set once.
Why it matters
The best feedback is timely and consistent — but asking for it by hand never scales. Pairing surveys with Journeys means you set up the question once and Workshop keeps asking, at exactly the right moment, for as long as the Journey runs.
Pro tip: Tie each Journey to a Campaign to pull combined results into the sentiment-over-time view. That’s a full feedback loop — ask, collect, and watch the trend — all inside Workshop.
